Few companies have fallen as far, as fast, as Sega did between the high of Genesis and the low of Saturn. With terrible products like Sega CD and 32X, and terrible games like Bug. Sega nearly managed to totally discredit what was once of the most respected and recognizedbrand names in games. Even with a major corporate shake-ups, some poeple doubt that anyone will ever be able to successfully market a consumer game machine with the word "Sega" on it. And that may be just the way Sega likes it. Once again, as in the Genesis days, the company is in a "nothing to lose" position, enebling it to take risk no one else can as it seeks to reestablish itself as a premier console brand.
